Through my Russian book, I have learned a lot about myself. The only reason I have had time to read that book is because of IQuest. This book is about the experiences of a Soviet philosopher that helped over a hundred athletes start at ground zero and work to be Olympic gold medalists. The experiences and stories really help you learn from others mistakes. I have learned a lot about my mental strength from my workouts with my Arizona trainers. They push you to a new level using a modality that makes you question why you're doing the training but in the end, makes you feel proud of what you accomplished and makes you stronger for your sport. I have learned so much including about the mental strength of the best athletes. It is a new level that Americans have no idea can be reached. I want to reach it.

Blog #6
So far, IQuest has been a blessing. I have been doing my workouts consistently based on my Arizona protocols. I have also been reading my Russian Psychology which has been a huge part of my quest. I do my workouts mostly in my home because I have the specific equipment I need for the workouts. I also use Flex, which is a gym located in downtown Danville where my mentor works. My mentor has been involved with my family for a long time. He started to train my dad in the early 90s. He is a personal trainer who also trained me a few years ago. My workouts have been increased to a athletic expert and I now use his gym as a place to train performing my program. This training has been the best thing to happen to me and IQuest has helped me make the most out of my time. I believe I wouldn't be as successful in my sports without IQuest. I have so much other activities including homework, practice, college activities and other miscellaneous activities to do and IQuest allows me to focus on my athletics. I'm doing this because I want to dominate college football and play in the NFL. It is an insane process that I am taking on head on. I'm excited for this journey.
The positives have been basically everything. It is great being able to go home to prioritize my favorite activities and not have to take pointless classes that would limit my potential. The blogs are chill and not too hard because they are every other week and they are on topics that are interesting and fun to write about. There have been no disappointments. I was unsure about the expectations for the first quarter proof of our goals so I messed that up but now I know for quarter two. Can't wait for the rest of the year.

Thomas Edward Patrick Brady
I have chose to do my blog on Tom Brady. I chose him because he has been extremely successful in the sport and position in which I want to pursue. He has won four out of the six Super Bowls in which he has participated in and is arguably the best quarterback of all time. I want to pursue the accolades he has accomplished. I will conduct my research on Tom's journey to his success. How did he make it? Who were his mentors? What has Tom learned from his mistakes? I was interested in Tom because he is completely dominating; more so than anyone else at the highest level mentally and physically. I have read that Tom had a very important mentor in his life that helped him achieve the greatness that has come his way. I am very interested in seeing what I am missing and learn from his journey to being the best.
I hope to learn about the details behind Brady's success. Being the best is all about details and I am hoping to find the little things that make him a special player to implement it into my game. Also, learning about his childhood and upbringing is important to compare life and how on track I am with his youth schedule. Tom was raised in the Bay Area and has a similar stature to me which is encouraging because my goal within the next 10 years is to dominate college football and play in the NFL for many years. Doing more research will help me get more comfortable around Brady because I might be able to get connected through another mentor of mine. I'm excited to research Tom because it will help me get more familiar with the paths of the best athletes in the world.

Responsibility
Responsibility
Responsibility is the topic that I chose. Responsibility means the most to me out of the words to choose from because it is something that I am going through right now. I have a lot of personal responsibility that I need to complete and hold myself accountable to every day if I want to achieve the goals that I do want to achieve. Responsibility is a personal job that nobody else can do for you, yet it is the most important trait for being successful because it helps in every aspect of your life.
My opinion on this topic is that 90% of teenagers in our area are lacking responsibility. I believe this is purely because there is no sense of urgency or necessity to become something because they believe that everything will be handed to them. The sad part about this is that most things will be handed to them because of the parents and people they were born into. Responsibility helps you be content with your personal accomplishments rather than the accomplishments around you. Being happy with your personal accomplishments ultimately creates happiness.
For example, I have Russian workouts every day that require me to push my limit. These workouts are specially designed for me by my trainers in Arizona to maximize my potential. There are two ways these workouts can go and both are just based off of my attitude. I can either have a great vision of where these workouts are taking me and do them 100% even though they test my mental strength because of how much they hurt or I can skip a workout every now and then and become average. The workouts I do every day consist of multiple parts including a brief workout when I first wakeup, then a main workout after lunch and then I am required to sleep with my machine on at night. It is a grind but there is no better feeling than when I complete them and hold up my responsibility to being the best. In closing, responsibility can either help or hurt every aspect of your life and I believe it is one of the most important values to possess.

The name of my super hero would be the Soviet Cheetah. Basically, this super hero would be 6'4 230 pound human who has reached his peak performance. I named him the Soviet Cheetah because the Soviets are the originators of having athletes reach human potential. The potential of a human is far from what everyone in this world today believes. I don't believe anyone in this world has reached human potential and I believe that 99% of people haven't come anywhere even near it. The problem with America is everyone is okay with being mediocre and following the ways of others which ultimately creates mediocrity. I chose a cheetah because they are some of the most explosive athletes on this planet. Cheetahs can accelerate at an insane pace. This pace I am talking about is three seconds flat at an acceleration to 60 miles per hour.
His powers would include running at speeds of forty miles per hour and have a vertical jump of fifty five inches. Basically, he is an undeniable monster in every aspect of his life. He would also be mentally strong which would increase his mental capacity to earn IVY League degrees. This super hero would be the smartest of the smart and connecting this to Russian Philosophy, he would be chosen to be one of the students at the highly secreted, training facility in Russia. He would be put through a few tests and ultimately given the tools to become the best athlete in the world. He would be the ultimate example of how to maximize human potential.
I need these super powers because I could become the ultimate football player in college and ultimately dominate in the National Football League. This would be important because I could get huge contracts and ultimately make a ton of money. I won't take all of this money, however, I will share it with the charities I work with. Obviously running at forty miles per hour and having a fifty five inch vertical will help me dominate other football players and out-run the fastest of defenders.
This would make my last year at San Ramon Valley High School amazing because I could dominate in every aspect of my life. Domination is ultimately the word that this Super Hero would achieve. I would use these super powers on the football field and on the basketball court. I would undeniably be a different species on the field and on the court because of the painful preparation I chose to sacrifice for. The sacrifice would pay off and help me with my overall big picture. It would also help me in the classroom because I could maintain a maximum amount of focus especially when I am in my favorite class, Mrs. Sekera's class.

Intro
My name is Kevin Davidson. I am really looking forward to taking this class in order to pursue my passion. My quest that I will be working towards is becoming to best college quarterback I can be. After that, I want to get drafted and become the best NFL quarterback I can be.
My goals for this year include: running a 4.7 40 yard dash and having a 9 1/2 foot broad jump.
A fun fact about myself is that I received a scholarship to UC Davis.
My mentors name is Gary Bush.
The background to my passion is that I train in Arizona with a body strength coach and a quarterback coach. I have learned about Russian training techniques and I believe these techniques can separate me and maximize my potential that can bring me to the NFL.
