Responsibility

Responsibility

Responsibility is the topic that I chose. Responsibility means the most to me out of the words to choose from because it is something that I am going through right now. I have a lot of personal responsibility that I need to complete and hold myself accountable to every day if I want to achieve the goals that I do want to achieve. Responsibility is a personal job that nobody else can do for you, yet it is the most important trait for being successful because it helps in every aspect of your life.

My opinion on this topic is that 90% of teenagers in our area are lacking responsibility. I believe this is purely because there is no sense of urgency or necessity to become something because they believe that everything will be handed to them. The sad part about this is that most things will be handed to them because of the parents and people they were born into. Responsibility helps you be content with your personal accomplishments rather than the accomplishments around you. Being happy with your personal accomplishments ultimately creates happiness.

For example, I have Russian workouts every day that require me to push my limit. These workouts are specially designed for me by my trainers in Arizona to maximize my potential. There are two ways these workouts can go and both are just based off of my attitude. I can either have a great vision of where these workouts are taking me and do them 100% even though they test my mental strength because of how much they hurt or I can skip a workout every now and then and become average. The workouts I do every day consist of multiple parts including a brief workout when I first wakeup, then a main workout after lunch and then I am required to sleep with my machine on at night. It is a grind but there is no better feeling than when I complete them and hold up my responsibility to being the best. In closing, responsibility can either help or hurt every aspect of your life and I believe it is one of the most important values to possess.

The name of my super hero would be the Soviet Cheetah. Basically, this super hero would be 6'4 230 pound human who has reached his peak performance. I named him the Soviet Cheetah because the Soviets are the originators of having athletes reach human potential. The potential of a human is far from what everyone in this world today believes. I don't believe anyone in this world has reached human potential and I believe that 99% of people haven't come anywhere even near it. The problem with America is everyone is okay with being mediocre and following the ways of others which ultimately creates mediocrity. I chose a cheetah because they are some of the most explosive athletes on this planet. Cheetahs can accelerate at an insane pace. This pace I am talking about is three seconds flat at an acceleration to 60 miles per hour.

His powers would include running at speeds of forty miles per hour and have a vertical jump of fifty five inches. Basically, he is an undeniable monster in every aspect of his life. He would also be mentally strong which would increase his mental capacity to earn IVY League degrees. This super hero would be the smartest of the smart and connecting this to Russian Philosophy, he would be chosen to be one of the students at the highly secreted, training facility in Russia. He would be put through a few tests and ultimately given the tools to become the best athlete in the world. He would be the ultimate example of how to maximize human potential.

I need these super powers because I could become the ultimate football player in college and ultimately dominate in the National Football League. This would be important because I could get huge contracts and ultimately make a ton of money. I won't take all of this money, however, I will share it with the charities I work with. Obviously running at forty miles per hour and having a fifty five inch vertical will help me dominate other football players and out-run the fastest of defenders.
This would make my last year  at San Ramon Valley High School amazing because I could dominate in every aspect of my life. Domination is ultimately the word that this Super Hero would achieve. I would use these super powers on the football field and on the basketball court. I would undeniably be a different species on the field and on the court because of the painful preparation I chose to sacrifice for. The sacrifice would pay off and help me with my overall big picture. It would also help me in the classroom because I could maintain a maximum amount of focus especially when I am in my favorite class, Mrs. Sekera's class.
